According to IDF spokesman Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari, Israel is making notable progress towards its military objectives in the Gaza Strip. Over the past ten months of conflict, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have successfully eliminated 17,000 Hamas fighters, with more than half of the terrorist organization's forces reportedly destroyed.

These substantial losses have critically weakened Hamas' ability to regroup and recover. The remaining battalions are struggling to maintain their operational capabilities. Additionally, the IDF has demolished dozens of tunnels, a significant military challenge, although the exact number of tunnels leading to Egypt remains uncertain.

U.S. Security Council spokesman John Kirby confirmed that Israel is close to dismantling Hamas' military and political infrastructure. The United States has pledged continued support for Israel until Hamas is fully defeated.
