A Lithuanian man managed to steal $122 million from tech giants Google and Facebook by sending fake invoices from a fictitious company between 2013 and 2015. Google unknowingly paid $23 million, while Facebook transferred $99 million. The scam was successful due to the vast number of partners and invoices these companies dealt with, making it difficult to detect the fraud. The man was eventually caught and sentenced to five years in prison.
