Surgeons from Texas have transplanted a titanium heart without valves for the first time




There been so many trials and unsuccessful operations to transplant a mechanism heart in humans, being the first innovation to be successful though still temporary will give people hope to still live on their daily life

The mechanical organ pumps up to 12 liters of blood per minute, and thanks to a magnetic levitation rotor with a minimum number of parts, it wears out much more slowly than its counterparts.

However, it is still a temporary solution until a real donor heart is transplanted.
